Our first Super Kid of the new year is a student who has improved a lot in
the past few months. Flora has quickly
risen to be one of the top readers and spellers in Eagle Class. She is also a very quick and bright
mathematician. She is great at addition
and subtraction. She is easily recognized
by her cute, high-pitched voice – but don’t let that fool you. Flora is confident in speech, and has
great pronunciation. Good job on being
our Super Kid, Flora!

This Super Kid has been super since day one! When she first came to CKids, she was naturally a little shy and reluctant. But one thing stood out, and that was the big smile on her face. She is a very happy girl, always smiling and always doing nice things for the other kids. Not only is she a sweet kid, but she is extremely smart. She can already read very well, and though her voice is a little low, she speaks very good English. On top of these super qualities, her behavior is almost always perfect - she listens to her teachers, she pays attention, and she works hard. What more could we ask from a student?! This Super Kid really is a "joy," so it is with great "joy" that we give January's Super Kid award to . . . Joy!!!Congratulations!

This student is not really
this month’s Super Kid, because she is always a super kid, every day, every
month! When she first came to
school, this cute girl didn’t want to go upstairs, but stayed downstairs every
day crying because she wasn’t sure that she liked school. Then one day she showed us the first
of her beautiful smiles, and she has been smiling and happy ever since then! This student is good at almost every
subject, and she’s not afraid to make whole sentences in English, especially
when telling stories, which she loves to do!
She is reliable and smart, and very polite and ladylike. Everybody likes her and wants to be
her friend because she is very gracious and kind.
Teacher: Jeannie, Dolly
We give this
award to this student because we've seen how hard he has worked to be able to
catch up with everyone's level. It was not an easy climb to the top, but this
boy can now read words phonetically. His listening skill is great but his
speaking still needs some work. But we believe if he could motivate himself to
read, then he would be able to motivate himself to speak clearer and better. Now
that's what we call determination and motivation! We are proud of your
improvement so give it up for...RAY!

The Super Kid from Panda Class this month is Gracie. Gracie is one of our best English speakers in Panda Class. She asks questions, sings songs, and can talk with other students using so much English. Gracie is a super student because she has many questions for her teachers and is always raising her hand. She is not afraid to be a class leader and help the students next to her if they need help. Good job Gracie for being such a Super Kid!
