Our Super Kid in Cobra Class
for the month of July is Angelica! Since coming from Zebra Class, Angelica has
shown improvement. Although she is not very active in learning, she has
improved. She has always been good at speaking English, and she is now advancing
in her writing and reading skills. She can sometimes be a bit moody, but she is
learning to control her emotions.

The Super Kid for the month of July in Phoenix Class is a young lady who has consistently done great in class. She has always been very efficient and careful when completing her classwork, and it has only improved with time. This girl has also improved greatly when it comes to confidence. She can now speak loudly and confidently, as opposed to sounding like a mouse. She is very welcoming with her classmates, and went out of her way to make the new students feel comfortable. Her newfound confidence allowed her to perform a wonderful rendition of “City Cats, Country Cats.” So, congratulations to the Super Kid for Phoenix Class, Candy!

For Leopard Class’s first
Super Kid Award, we have selected a very special boy. He has been a true leader
in class and outside class, and has shown us what he is able of in the future.
Not only is he always the first to raise his hand, but he also helps his
classmates when they need guidance. He has shown a great ability to stay caught
up with the material, listen to his teachers, and also help his fellow students
when they don’t know how to do something. He is a kind and quiet student, but I
can see that as he grows and develops, he will be a very capable student. The
Super Kid for Leopard Class for the month of August is Will!

The Super Kid for Dolphin
Class is a very intelligent girl. Her English speaking ability is very high and
she can always memorize new vocabulary words quickly, even when they are in
Spanish! Although sometimes we have to remind her that she is not the teacher,
she is getting better at helping her friends and not telling them what to do.
She is always paying attention and loves to learn.

Our Super Kid for the month
of July has shown us how much she has grown up in a year. She is showing
athletic prowess especially in the swimming pool. She swims like a mermaid and
is not afraid to do aquatic acrobatics! What a trooper!
This special kid has also
shown improvement academically. She can remember vocabulary words and sentence
patterns and can speak in complete sentences now. She loves reading and would
try to “read” big words in our books. She plays well with her friends and she
loves to invent different kinds of games every now and then.

brighter!

The Super Kid for Lemur Class has shown a great improvement in his short time at CKids. While understandably intimidated in his first few weeks of school, he is learning to control his emotions and is becoming more comfortable in his new surroundings. This student uses good manners, shows a great ability to follow directions and likes to help his teachers. He is a bright kid and has a lot of potential to succeed in Lemur Class, especially now that he knows school isn’t such a scary place! Good job this month, Lucas!
