Our Super Kid in Polar Bear for the month of November is Bula! Bula has improved so much over the past 5 months. She used to be reluctant to come to school everyday, but now she arrives happy and eager to learn. Bula has a great memory for new English words, and her pronunciation is one of the best in Polar Bear Class. She loves to sing our weekly songs, and she is a frequent participant in class.

This month’s Super Kid Award goes to a very special student. He continues to improve upon his knowledge of English to practicing those skills in his reading. In return, he gets good grades, doesn't miss an assignment, and Teacher Dolly and I don't have to yell…too much! However, he has been caught…helping his friends and, on occasion, acts like a goofball. Without him, our class would not be a class and our play would not be a play because he literally balances on one leg during the good ninjas’ entrance song.

I am very, very proud of this month’s outstanding Leopard because of how far he has come and how quickly he is developing before our eyes. He has begun to focus without being told to, he is picking up the new material very well, and he is finally making the effort to learn his phonics sounds. I’m very excited about how this little Leopard is coming along, and Teacher Karcida and I sincerely hope he continues at this pace!

For the month of November, we honor this special Wallaby with the title of Super Kid. This young wallaby has an attention for detail when it comes to learning the sentence patterns and new words. While he can be on the quieter side, he is outspoken in class when it comes to following the rules. He has grown a lot in Wallaby class, and has become a great helper.

This prestigious award has been bestowed to a super special boy. He has improved so much in terms of his speaking and listening. He used to have difficulty pronouncing words clearly but lo and behold, he can argue with his teachers and friends using only English in a very clear voice. He is always ready to show off his reading skills to anyone who is willing to listen to stories and would gladly lend a hand to those in need. He is very competitive especially when we play games and doesn’t like to lose at all. He is slowly learning how to accept defeat and that he should be gracious to the winners. He is an energetic little boy and we are proud to see him achieve so much!

This month’s Super Kid goes to a special little Lemur who has a great spirit and a lot of energy. His speaking has always been very good and he is never embarrassed to talk to anyone, anywhere. His pronunciation and vocabulary is very good, albeit a little British for some reason. He loves to chat with his friends, especially the girls, and is very social with his peers. He has recently been improving a lot in our phonics class and his reading skills are some of the best in the class. For all these reasons and more, Callum is our Super Kid for November!
