Our Super Kid in Polar Bear Class for the month of January is Elena! Elena has continued to show improvement in all areas of her learning. Her English pronunciation is clearer and her handwriting is beautiful. Elena has a good sense of humor and is often telling jokes and making everyone laugh. She gets along with all of her classmates and she is very helpful to her teachers. Congratulations and keep up the great work, Elena!

This very special Gator used to be so shy; I could barely hear her when she spoke. When she colored; she did it so lightly that her crayon barely touched her book. However, after only one semester, she is so much stronger! When she sings and speaks, she does so loudly, with force and confidence. Her coloring, counting, and dexterity have all immensely improved, and improvement is what I like to see the most. Furthermore, I’m confident that in the coming months and years, she’ll improve so much that the shy little girl I first met will become nothing but a distant memory. Summer, you have made me proud to be your teacher. Congratulations, you are Gator Class’s January Super Kid! Keep up the great work!

The Super Kid Award isn’t just given to anybody. It is an award that is given with much thought to a special person that has done remarkable things. This month wasn’t hard as we knew in our hearts who to give it to. This young lady has overcome many obstacles throughout this year, and has yet to be recognized. This person has learned to play better with her friends and include others into the fun. She is able to work hard in class and play hard during break time. She does not shy away from challenges. Her writing is always very neat; as she does not like to leave eraser marks. She tries her best to be the fastest in the class but we all know the turtle wins the race. It is my honor to present this month’s Super Kid to Tammy. Congratulations! Keep up the hard work! I know one day you’ll be unstoppable!

This month’s Wallaby Class Super Kid is a very special boy. He always listens to his teachers and behaves well in class. His math has improved greatly over the past few weeks. His English and reading are at the top of the class. He always finishes his work neatly and fast; is always willing to help others when needed. He is loved by all his classmates and is the perfect role model for everyone. For all those reasons and more, the Super Kid for the month of January in Wallaby Class is Ryder! I have always wanted to give this award to this special boy for some time now. I remember when he first started in CKids; he was very fragile and would shut down whenever he does not understand the lesson. He was easily forgotten because he was so quiet and timid. Through lots of encouragement, patience, and time, there is no stopping this little boy now. He loves to express himself in speaking and singing in English. He loves to remind his peers the class rules all the time. He has gained so much confidence in his everyday life in school and for these reasons and more; we pick Collin as our January Super Kid! Congratulations and we wish you and your family luck as you embark on a new adventure in China!

This month’s Super Kid is a funny little Lemur who loves to make everyone laugh. He always has a positive attitude and a great outlook, even when the work is hard. He has improved a lot over the past few months. His reading is getting stronger and stronger each day, and his writing is constantly getting faster and neater. He is great with his addition and subtraction and loves to learn about science. We have been so happy to see he has grown a lot and has gotten so much more mature throughout his time here. We are so happy to make Hunter our Lemur Class Super Kid for January!
