5月份 super kids

Dolphin class [Reed]

Teacher: Isaac, Stacey

May wasn’t an easy month for all the students at CKids. We had rainy weather, students or teachers absent, a week of online courses, and a graduation show to prepare for! The Dolphins persevered through it all and showed they were always ready to learn in any circumstance. BUT, there was one Dolphin student that really stood out and showed us all how to be ready for any situation that we would find ourselves in. He never complained, never got angry, always paid attention, and only had a positive attitude. Not only did he keep up with the entire lesson, we saw so much improvement from him this month! His handwriting got better, his phonics skills are amazing, and he even showed improvement in conversation. We’re so proud to announce that the Super Kid for the month of May is Reed. Way to go!

Puppy class [Emma]

Teacher: Cole, Dana

The Super Kid for the month of May is a cheerful, quiet, and polite girl who loves strawberries, lollipops, and butterflies. She is always in a good mood and smiles every day. She was an easy choice for this award due to her punctual nature. She is always listening and absorbing new information. From the beginning, she only used English to communicate with me, never being afraid of not knowing how to express herself. Her courage in this area has allowed her to make many minor corrections. Even though she is soft-spoken and rarely takes the initiative to speak first, she is always patiently waiting, ready with a perfect response. This award goes to none other than Emma! Congratulations Emma, and keep up the great work!

Gazelle Class [Eason]

Teacher: Jeannie, Dolly

Gazelle’s second to the last Super Kid Award goes to a special boy who has proven to all that he is one exceptional student. He is not one to back off or give up on any challenge which is why we know he’ll do very well in elementary school when he graduates from kindergarten! His brilliant mind makes him resourceful and creative and does more than well in all of his subjects. He’s very cunning when playing IQ games, which helps him win in every game. He loves playing chess but has yet to win a round with Teacher Jeannie. We hereby give this award to Eason! Congratulations! You have made us proud in your 3 year stay in school. We know you’ll make us even prouder as you continue on in your elementary education! Keep up the great work and we look forward to your future achievements in life!

Panther Class [Laurence]

Teacher: Michael, Joanna

Our Super Kid in Panther for the month of May 2022 is Laurence! Laurence has improved immensely since he started at CKids. When he first joined the class he had no English abilities and couldn’t understand most of what was going on. It took him a while at first to adjust to an all-English environment, but then things started to click. He can now express himself very well in English, and his reading and writing skills are among the best in Panther Class. He is a friendly and polite friend to all of his classmates, and he never gets angry or upset. We will miss him as he graduates in June. Good luck in elementary school, and may your future shine bright, Laurence!

Penguin Class [Andrew]

Teacher: Saskia, Anita

Our Super Kid award for the month of May goes to a very special boy. This young man is full of natural and infectious curiosity, and so he is enthusiastic and excited about learning almost every subject. This cute kid loves to ask questions and explore the world around him. For this reason, it has been a pleasure to teach this student from the moment he first came to school and learned to count to three on his little fingers. He enthusiastically learns new vocabulary and songs and he loves to speak English with his teachers and friends. He has shown talent at speaking clearly and expressing himself, and I look forward to many more good things from this student in the months and years to come. Congratulations, Andrew! You are a very super kid!

Koala Class [Claire]

Teacher: Mike, Leigh

Our Super Kid for this month is a smart little Koala who has been showing commendable progress in her academics and in class since the beginning of the new semester. She seems timid at times, but still shows a lot of dedication and determination in everything that she does. Her self-confidence in achieving given tasks and facing daily challenges is clearly worthy of praise. Her self-confidence improves slowly but surely. She’s mostly calm and shows no trouble focusing during lessons and whenever needed. She moves confidently at her own pace and doesn’t get easily distracted by anything or anyone. She’s friendly and gets along well with just about everyone. It’s our pride and joy to have Claire in our class and be our proud Super Kid for the month of May. Good job, Claire!
