We’ve got an extra enthusiastic Dolphin for our Super Kid this month. He’s not always the most well-behaved or attentive student in our class, but when he puts in effort he does an amazing job in our class. This month he has put in so much effort and we’ve noticed! His handwriting is very neat and has kindled a love for learning math. He has also shown a near PERFECT attendance, coming to school almost every day last month, even when times were tough. What we are most proud of seeing in this student is his desire to improve even when it can be difficult for him. When he is learning hard lessons, especially about how to treat others, he will listen to his teachers and will understand why the lessons are important! Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get the lessons right, but he is improving every day and becoming the best friend he could ever be in Dolphin Class! This month’s Super Kid is Ethan! Way to go! You impress us every day!

With the summer semester now coming to an end, the next journey is approaching closely. I can’t believe how much the puppies have grown up. One puppy that comes to mind is a very intelligent and independent little boy. From the very beginning, he insisted on finishing any task given to him without any help. However, one area where he needed improvement was his focus. During the past few months, he has made great progress at giving his undivided attention to the teacher, and eagerly raised his hand with great determination to answer any question asked. His persistent effort to stay focused has really shined while reciting weekly songs. His perseverance to become a great listener is paying off! For these reasons, this month’s Super Kid is none other than Luke! Great job, and keep up the great work.

This month’s Super Kid in Flamingo Class is a bright and loving little man. He is always the first to help out in class, and always shares his toys. When he sees a problem, he is the first to think of a solution. He can be shy at times, but he has a smile on his face ready when needed. Teacher Dolly and I are so proud of this little Flamingo, and we are honored to give this month’s Super Kid award to our little Rex! Congratulations, Rex! Please continue to be the loving and kind hearted little boy that we love.

Our Super Kid in Panther for the month of August 2022 is Gina! Gina has really come a long way since joining our class one year ago. She went from knowing very little English to speaking fluently and confidently very quickly. She does very well in her reading, as she can read many sight words by herself without ever been taught them. She loves to play and talk with her friends in Panther Class. She used to get angry or upset easily but she has learned to control her emotions. She is an active participant in class, and she is not afraid to ask questions. Congratulations, and keep up the great work, Gina!

This month we would like to give our Super Kid award to an artistic and talented young lady. This student can draw and color exquisitely and she has a strong creative bent. This girl tends to be quite independent and she can sometimes be a little strong-minded. Since coming to school, she has been learning how to work well with others, and be kinder to her classmates. Even though she can act tough, she has a very sweet nature and she can be very sweet and caring. In the past, this young lady was sometimes deliberately slow and on her own time, but I’m happy to say that she has improved a good deal in recent months. She can now complete tasks on time and she is happier for it too! I’m proud of how well she is picking up English and I look forward to seeing more good things from our Penguin Class Chiao!! Keep up the good work!

August has been a very interesting month. We’ve had so many new Tigers joining the family, but there was one particular shining star that caught everyone’s attention. This very smart, little, and cute girl loves showing her teachers about what she has learned and know. She responds very fast to each and every question that we ask and her answers are always precise. She not only shows quite an outstanding performance during class, but also loves to remind others to finish their food! We are very happy to give this Super Kid award to our Super Tiger, Effie! We are so proud of you for being such an energetic and amazing little Tiger!
