This month’s Super Kid has got it all. She’s got courage! She volunteers as a helper and raises her hand often. She’s got motivation and drive! She worked diligently to get caught up with the rest of her class when she took a break over the summer. She’s got love! Lots of love! She gets along with all of her Dolphin classmates when playing and is very good at sharing. One of the coolest things we saw her do in December is when she took her own initiative in practicing her Phonics when she knew she had some work to do. Now her Phonics skill is amazing because she put in the extra work. What an amazing job! Our Super Kid for December is Vanessa! Congratulations!

This month’s Super Kid is more like a superhero! Her ability to stay calm, focused, and polite is unmatched. She pays close attention to detail in all she does, ensuring her writing is acceptable and legible upon first glance. She takes her reputation very seriously. She wouldn’t dare misbehave, even if others are taunting her. She is always ready to help her peers struggling to put on their jacket, write a number, or count in the correct order. She is very aware of her surroundings and observant of what is expected of her. Due to these characteristics, it is no question that this month’s Super Kid is none other than Karissa! Congratulations!

After a lot of hard work and dedication, Teacher Dolly and I are more than ready to give Flamingo’s first Super Kid Award of 2023 to a gentle, young man who had a rough start at the beginning of the school year. This little boy showed us that as long as you try your best, nothing is impossible. He is super kind to his fellow classmates and is also polite to all his teachers. We are proud to give this month’s Super Kid Award to Gavin! Please continue to be the sweet and loving boy that you are.

Our Super Kid in Panther for the month of December 2022 is Mia! Mia is a very vocal and social student in our class. She loves to get attention by speaking out or cracking jokes. Mia has improved quite a bit over the past semester. She used to be lazy to do any work, and she would dislike reading our stories, but now she can read our books and vocabulary words with ease. Mia is a very popular student in our class and well-liked by all of her classmates. She is friendly to everyone, and she is always willing to share with her friends. Congratulations, and keep up the good work, Mia!

It’s time for us to honor one of our bright, up and coming young scholars in Penguin Class. This young man is very smart and learns new materials very quickly. Because he has lots of energy, he found it hard in the past to settle down and listen well in class. Recently, he has shown us how well he can do when he puts his mind to it! This special boy likes to read and he can already read many words, and even books on his own. He also likes to put on a show and sing and act on the stage. Please give it up for our Super Kid for December 2022, the amazing Mr. Yuki!

This month’s Super Kid in Tiger Class goes to a cute, little boy. It was a very easy choice because of his outstanding performance in class and in school. This boy has a very positive outlook and is curious about everything that he sees or hears. He won’t stop asking until he gets an answer. On his first day of school, he even asked us why we were speaking in English to him. This particular individual has improved so much that he doesn’t even realize that he can speak English now. We are proud to give this honorable award to this Super Kid, James! Well done and keep up the good work!
