2月份 super kids
Dolphin class
[Hank]
Teacher: Isaac, Stacey For the honor of February’s Super Kid, we have Hank as the recipient! It was an easy decision as we’ve seen Hank go above and beyond in his English learning. He’s very comfortable speaking in English and his fluency recently has been very impressive. We can count on him to raise his hand and be involved, engaged, and excited with the lessons in Dolphin Class. He has also shown that he is not afraid to show his skill in front of others, as he tells his storytelling competition story to others with great confidence. He also shows so much personal initiative and interest in English. We often find him learning new words even when it isn’t homework! He’s silly! He’s funny! He’s a great friend! He’s a Dolphin! He is February’s Super Kid! Congratulations, Hank and well done! |

Puppy class
[Ethan]
Teacher: Cole, Dana The Super Kid of Puppy Class for February has been chosen due to many recent milestones. He has recently shown great improvement and continues to show progress in areas which were lacking. His focus has become increasingly sharper by the week. His retention of information has become more consistent. He has been giving great effort to participate by raising his hand and waiting patiently with an appropriate response. I was so impressed when he mentioned many of the minor details which other students had left out while reciting the story “The Mysterious Box” on his own. This was not an isolated incident. He led the class as we practiced a weekly song, a tricky tongue twister, called “Peter Piper”. Something has clicked inside him. He is thinking outside the box and is genuinely interested in why things are the way they are. For these reasons, this month’s Super Kid is Ethan! Congratulations Ethan, we look forward to helping you continue to grow. |

Flamingo Class
[Bonnie]
| |
Teacher: Christine, Dolly This month’s Super Kid goes to a cute little lady who is always the first to volunteer in class. She loves to help her fellow Flamingos whenever help is needed. She shows great enthusiasm when participating in class and school activities. She plays well with others although she is still learning how to share her toys. She remembers her vocabulary words and sentences and will constantly remind other Flamingos to speak only English in class. She raises her hand and waits patiently to be called upon before giving out an answer. Keep up the great work, Bonnie! Teacher Dolly and I can’t wait to see more of your improvement this semester. |

Panther Class
[Chris]
Teacher: Michael, Joanna Our Super Kid in Panther Class for the month of February 2023 is Chris! Chris is a very active participant in class and he shows great enthusiasm while learning at school. He is not shy at all and he can be heard speaking English in a loud and clear voice from across the school at any given time. Chris always comes to school early, and he is usually the first to finish his class work. Chris loves to learn and excels in all subjects. One of his favorite subjects is Science. He gets along well with others in class and never gets angry. We are very pleased with Chris’ progress as he approaches his graduation and heads off to elementary school. Congratulations, and keep up the great work, Chris! | |

Penguin Class
[Jasmine]
Teacher: Saskia, Anita Our Super Kid for Penguin Class in the month of February is a lovely young lady who is well mannered and polite every day. This girl always pays attention in class, follows her teachers, and is nice to all of her classmates. Since coming to school she has learned lots of English and she always chants, sings and says stories using good pronunciation. She performs well in every area, including math, science, phonics and even Explore Yourself, and she tries her best every day. All of these and more are the reasons that Jasmine is a very Super Kid. Keep up the great work, Jasmine! We love you! |

Tiger Class
[Edgar]
Teacher: Steven, Maureen
February’s Super Kid in Tiger Class goes to a very special boy who has impressed us all with his quiet intelligence and great classroom behavior. Despite how quiet he sometimes gets, this young man has shown an outstanding ability to learn new concepts and apply them into his daily life. He often impresses his teachers on how well he can speak English and consistently shows kindness and respect to his friends and teachers. This makes him an excellent role model to everyone in class. We are very proud to give this month’s Super Kid award to…Edgar! Congratulations, Edgar, for doing a very amazing job. Keep it up!
