Puppy class [Emma]

Teacher: Cole, Dana

This month's Super Kid is a wonderfully talented student known for her quiet demeanor and sweet nature. Despite her shyness, she shines brightly with her remarkable skills and dedication. Her presence is always a calming influence, and she consistently excels without ever getting into trouble. She may not be the most outspoken individual, but she most certainly is loyal and dependable. She is someone you can count on to take a role seriously. Upon the announcement of the storytelling competition, she became vocally distraught, but instead of shutting down in fear, she made sure to read her story again and again until she could say it at lightning speed to make her peers proud. Due to this student's commendable attributes, we are very proud to announce Emma as this month's Super Kid for Puppy Class!

Flamingo Class [Henry]

Teacher: Christine, Dolly

This month’s Super Kid goes to another twin. This young man has shown the whole class that as long as you try your best, you can accomplish almost anything. This twin started the semester strong by remembering more challenging vocabulary words and sentences. His handwriting skills have also improved especially with writing numbers. He tries his best to speak in full sentences that are grammatically correct even if it’s a bit daunting for him. He could be silly at times and would break into dance moves in the middle of class but is quick to get down to business when needed to be. I’m so proud to give this month’s Super Kid award to Henry! Congratulations! May you continue to be the cute, little boy we love.

Raptor Class [Harper]

Teacher: Michael, Joanna

Our Super Kid in Raptor for February 2024 is Harper! Harper continues to improve in many areas of school life. She is learning how to control her emotions more quickly and effectively, and does not shut down and be unresponsive as much as she used to. She is much more expressive and is communicating more and more using only English. Harper is also improving in her social skills, and she is more willing to interact and play with her classmates without arguing or complaining. Harper is a very independent learner, and she can finish all of her work without any help. We are very pleased with Harper’s progress so far and we look forward to it continuing even more. Congratulations, and keep up the good work, Harper!

Penguin Class [Kylo]

Teacher: Saskia, Anita

We have a very special young man in our Penguin Class. This boy is full of energy and he is often the life of the party. He frequently makes us laugh with his funny jokes and his great sense of humor. This boy usually gets along with everyone and he finds it easy to make friends. He has also worked hard to become a better student in recent months. For a long time he found reading and writing to be a challenge, but he continued to work at it, and now we can say that his writing is no longer the messiest in Penguin Class, but is actually quite neat. We were also very impressed to see how he took personal responsibility to learn to read his story, illy? for storytelling competition. He practiced over and over, even when we didn’t ask him to, and he really took his learning seriously. Amazing! Please join us in giving this month Super Kid award to our very Super Kid, Kylo!

Tiger Class [Ryba]

Teacher: Steven, Maureen

Tiger Super Kid for February goes to a young and energetic boy who has impressed everyone with how quickly he gets things done. Whether it be completing books or participating in activities, he always gives his 100% effort and shows great sportsmanship. He always carries a positive attitude towards learning and telling stories. He enjoys challenging his friends with some friendly competition by pushing the limits of speed and task accomplishment just to show who the best is. With this attitude and enthusiasm, it’s such an honor to have him in Tiger Class as he sets a remarkable example for his peers. Congratulations! Keep up with your outstanding behavior, Ryba!
