2月份 super kids

Llama Class [Elly]

Bernice: Our Super Kid this month is a very special girl who needed a more personalized care and attention from her teachers in the beginning. She would cry a lot and needed to be comforted but now she is more independent as she can do things on her own! She has grown up so much, and I am so proud of her. Although she still needs my care every now and then, I do believe that she will get better and better. Good job, Elly!

Bryan: Our Super Kid this month is a girl who refused to eat, drink, or do anything when she first started school. Half a year later and things have changed dramatically. She has a big appetite now, can drink her water, change her own diaper, and do her work independently. She also sings our weekly songs, plays games with the other children in class, and raises her hand to answer questions. It has been really satisfying to see her progress so much in such a short space of time. I am very excited to see her develop and see what surprises she has in store for me in the future. Our Super Kid is everyone’s little sister in our class, congratulations to Elly!

Phoenix Class [Peter]

Tiffany: Our Super Kid this month is Peter. Peter has improved a great deal over the past month. He has gotten better at telling us how he feels and eats better and quicker. He does his work well, rarely needing any assistance and is usually focused in class. Keep up the good work, Peter! Congratulations!

Cesar: Our Super Kid this past month is a very cute boy who always pays attention in class and who is nice to everyone. This little boy is not very loud or outspoken, but he is always observing others. He is very good at math and phonics. Whenever we need someone to volunteer, he will usually raise his hand to participate. Recently, he has started to open up more and is a lot more comfortable in front of a big crowd. Whenever we practice our stories for our storytelling competition, he has started using funny voices and actions in order to make his friends laugh by being silly. We are proud to have Peter as the Super Kid for Phoenix Class. Congratulations!

Quokka Class [Luna]

Bret: From day one this Super Kid was attached to me and didn’t want to leave my side. I appreciate that she takes what I teach to heart. She has improved her vocabulary a lot and has gotten more confident. She tries to do things the first time by herself, and she speaks up for herself, too. She has learned to share with others which is why all the Quokkas consider her a good friend. She has a great smile that brightens everyone’s day. Our Super Kid for February is Luna! Keep it up, Luna!

Lauren: Our Super Kid this month is a girl who used to be slow in class, but has now improved a lot. She moves faster and likes to make friends with everyone in class and in school. She is starting to speak up more and when she does, she tries her best to speak in English. Our Super Kid this month is Luna. Congratulations, Luna! Keep up the great job!

Meerkat Class [Orson]

Jeremy: Our Super Kid this month is Orson. Orson improved a lot this past month. When he first came to CKids, he didn’t want to participate in class, but as he has gotten more comfortable, he has become more willing to try new things. This month he has worked hard to remember his story for our storytelling competition. He was able to tell his story in front of the school which was great to see. Orson has improved in all aspects of school. He has gotten better at sounding out words and writing as well. He is also willing to ask for help if he needs it, which is a great change. Everyone in the class always wants to play with him, and they always make interesting things with the toys. He can be in a rush at times, but he has gotten better at controlling himself in class. Keep up the great work!
